The end of COVID-19 is insight. Spring is bursting in McLean. And we had such a great time at ANO in November, we decided it was time to do it again. Yes, in person. Join us! (Just bring your mask and a little personal space.)
In-Person Arts Outing Options
Thursday, May 20 Friday, May 21 Times are 45 minutes in length and start at 6:30 p.m., 7:15 p.m., and 8:00 p.m.

NDWC's annual Arts Night Out Redux offers a special curated tour by MPA Exhibitions Director Nancy Sausser of MPA’s latest exhibition,"Initium Noveum: Humanity's End as a New Beginning" featuring artist Yuriko Yamaguchi and writer Mineke Schipper. Inspired by end-of-the-world mythologies from around the globe, this exhibit is organized around a concern about climate change and the future of our planet. Yamaguchi's paints are paired with Schipper's writings, reached via QR codes on the wall. The exhibit also includes two site-specific installation works making use of both physical materials - video and light.
Venture out with a few of your friends (up to 10 per group) and join us through a limited number of in-person sessions on May 20 and 21. There will be three time slots each evening and tickets for each session will be sold in blocks of up to 10 tickets (the "ANO 10-pack"). The ANO 10-pack is $300 and includes 45-minutes for you and up to nine guests in the gallery (select date and time from those listed above), two bottles of wine and a cheese plate to enjoy.
In addition, NWDC has reserved the Community Hall Rooms A, B, & C. These rooms have enough space for social distancing and socializing over wine and snacks before and after touring the exhibit. Please "check-in" at the Community Hall upon arrival.
Unlike past years, we will not have a silent auction, but we aren't forgetting our local roots. Wine will be delivered to the ANO by The Wine Outlet; ditto the cheese plates from Balducci's. Hungry for more? Get your group together and grab dinner from one of McLean's many restaurants.
